• Use a soft fabric measuring tape
• Measure the length of the handrail from center post to center post to get the length you will order (the actual grip will be a smaller size covering the straight part of the rail)
• Measure the circumference around to the 16th of an inch.  See conversion picture below to convert to Outside Diameter. Note: Pools are standard size of 1.9" diameter

All Secure-Grip products have a one-year manufacturer's warranty.  The warranty covers the functionality of the product: stitching, zippers, and tearing of the material under normal usage.  The warranty does not cover cuts, stains, fraying, texture manipulation, damage from heating (do not dry in the dryer).  The use of harsh chemicals (i.e. pure bleach) may cause discoloration or cause material manipulation and void the warranty.  

• Machine Wash and Towel Dry (Do not put in the dryer).  Easy to zip back on!

At this time, standard color is taupe. Royal Blue is available for some boat sizes. Specific colors are available to facilities that meet the minimum order and nonrefundable deposit.

Bath & Shower sizes are the same name as the actual grab bar length, not actual length of the cover. The tight grip is only possible on the straight part of the railing.

The grab bar / Secure-Grip length is measured from the middle of the tube from either end to measure the length.

Measure the circumference of the grab bar with a soft measuring tape (usually used for sewing).  If the circumference is 4 1/16", your grab bar is an 1.25" outside diameter.  If the measured circumference is 4 13/16", your grab bar is an 1.5" outside diameter (O.D.).

ADA Compliant grab bars are 1.25" & 1.5" O.D.  Refer to the video "How to Measure" on the Bath & Shower page.

• Place grip at the end of grab bar/handrail with the zipper facing out to the bend and zip about 1 inch
• Turn zipper of the grip to the bottom (or back on a vertical bar) and finish zipping.  Should be a TIGHT fit.
• The grip should be even on both ends of the rail for effective application
• The zipper should not be showing once grip is installed
